Finally got to take my Beretta M9A3 to the range yesterday for a first test drive. I had 5 boxes of ammo to try and a couple hours ahead of me.

Ammo tried was 2x Remington UMC 115gr, 1x CCI Blazer in 115gr and 2x reloaded ammo bought from a local range that sells commercially reloaded ammo.

All the different ammo performed flawlessly. 1" grouping at 25m after going through 2 boxes and understanding how the trijicon sights work.

In SA, the trigger is smooth as silk. Not so much in DA, but that's to be expected from a gun that is designed to be carried with a round in the chamber and no safety.

Overall impression is great. I love this pistol. It has a hefty weight to it, which takes whatever recoil is expected by a 9mm round.

Cleaning it was a breeze. Stripped it at home, cleaned and lubed it and now it's ready for the next trip.

I'll upload some pics when I get a chance

Very cool, beautiful pistol, and definitely on my " if I win the lottery" list. I will pick up a Beretta 92 this year for sure, maybe one of the surplus ones just to funnel my inner John McLean, lol. Glad you are enjoying yours

Nice. This has been on my list for a while. American made with a threaded cold hammer forged barrel appeals to me, especially once silencers are deregulated. In addition the fixed barrel means no booster is needed on the silencer.
