Beretta Model 73

Hi I just got a Model 73, used, from Trigger Wholesale (Not direct). I took apart to clean but when I go to re-assemble, I'm not able to move the slide lock in the clockwise direction to lock the slide. Can't see the problem!! Anyone shed some light on wht I'm doing wrong? Seems so simple!!

It needs to happen as the notch passes over the lever right?
Check the orientation of the lever and the way the lock works.

Hi Got it!! Too impatient, went slowly and bang over it went, now locked up.
