Any chance of us seeing these up here any time soon? (and yes, I know it would still be considered restricted)

Would it not be considered as a firearm itself, since it is the grip/frame? If that is the case there might not be as much demand unless it comes in as non restricted and classed the same as the buckmark carbine.

The kit is actually a barrel and grip, and it still uses the registered Neos frame. Since it still uses the frame, it would still be considered a handgun, as the CFC's policy is if the frame was ever registered as a handgun, it will always be one, no matter what you do to it.:(

What if we were to get them imported as a whole and get them a N-R FRT#? Do you think Beretta would play-ball? They *DID* do the restricted PX4's...

I spoke with a guy from Stoeger and they are trying to convince their manager (??) to import them. The manager is a little leery about bringing them in. I am sure that if more people would phone them and express an interest it may happen. They may consider importing near year end if they can convince the manager that there will be no major legal ramifications. I agree that if you own a restricted license for the handgun you should be able to use a resitricted license to get the carbine kit. It only makes sense!!
For all those interested please call them at their head office down East.
