Beretta Neos...What's the scoop?

I'm looking for a plinker/target 22LR and was wondering about the Neos.
I have tried a buddies at the range I while back, and apart from a fairly heavy
trigger pull, it seemed not too bad.
I don't really like the Ruger MarkI - III units...grip angle, balance, WTF disassembly procedure, etc, so they're out of the equation.
I currently use my CZ85 Combat with the Kadet top end as my 22LR, and would like a dedicated unit without breaking the bank.
I like the ease of maintenace on the Neos as well as the ability to use iron sights or just slap a scope or reddot on when the mood strikes...
Gentlemen, limber up those digits, and give me news!

Try a Browning Buckmark. Good quality, lots of models to choose from. If you're not in a hurry, used one's can be found at reasonably good prices.

Most of the models (if not all) are adaptable to adding rails for scopes/red dots. The higher end models already have a rail included.

find a used High Standard, many out there between 2-400, have yet to see one that won't shoot well.

Kimber rimfire always seemed like a cool choice to me. P&D might have a good used one for sale.

Was looking a the NEO as well, I wonder what it's like to take apart and maintain. Is it superior to the SIG mosquito.
Very subjective question, but I'd like to hear opinions.

I have a Neos and I like it a lot. Very easy to take town, it's accurate & I like the feel of it. I have owned Rugers & S&W's and have shot Brownings but the Beretta is still my fave!

The exact reasons I don't like the Neos But that is personal perference.

Best bet is to try out some High Standards or Brownings for cost effective 22's. The other question is if you want that "full frame effect" like your CZ w/Kadet. If you do get a dedicated one however and are willing, let me know how much you will part with the kadet kit for
