Beretta o/u id help

A family friend is offering this to me for sale, claims its an older beretta but there are not many marks on it. What model might this be, if it even is a beretta? Also how worn does the action appear to be. Any help is appreciated. He is asking around 600$

Beretta stamps their name somewhere as far as I know. The sides or bottom of the receiver should have some info, look under the top lever and info on the barrel, also check the buttplate for a logo.

Has extractors and not ejectors.

Crossbolt looks more like a Gamba style.

Can't tell what make and model but I'm sure someone smarter will be along.

It's got double trigger so she's an older model and I've seen a locking system like that before. But can't be sure what system that is.

Judging by the top lever being right in the center its been shot a far bit.

The engraving is different, but the action looks a lot like this one, particularly with the crossbolt coming out the left side:

I agree with above that does not look like a Beretta type action at all. Looks Italian by another maker.

Wonder if the action is still tight? One of the locking lugs looks deformed....

Are you sure it’s a Beretta, I’ve seen lots of Berettas but never one that looked like that. That doesn’t mean it isn’t though.

It should be marked Beretta somewhere on it

A Pietro Beretta , it would have the name on the sides of the action. I believe it may possibly be a Dr. Franco Beretta -- (much lower quality)
