Has anyone ever shot the Beretta Olimpia rifle 22?
I picked up one a little while ago and I think its an interesting gun, a bolt action and semiautomatic in the same package
I like them because they well built, but not convenient to mount a scope on.
I see Tradex has some for sale.

I've been thinking about one of the ones at Tradeex. Cool guns, they seem well built.

The "bolt action" function is kind of gimmicky though. It's more like a charging handle that locks in both the forward, and rear, positions.

I bought one a little while ago, incredibly accurate gun. Haven't found ammo it doesn't like, it'll shoot even the cheap stuff in SA.

Neat to shoot groups with the same ammo as a bolt action and as SA. When shooting it as a bolt, HV ammo doesn't always group well.

The 22 Hakim rifle was built by Beretta for egypt using Olympia as a foundation
Same magazines etc

I've got one, I like it for the build quality and accuracy. My trigger is quite good for a semi. I find it to be one of the smoothest semi autos that I've shot, and by that I mean when it's actually being fired, seems to cycle nice. Mines been very reliable. I would like to buy another one that's a beater, have the barrel cut back to maybe 18 1/2" and mount a 2x7 scout scope, just to play with, but the one I have is to nice to mess with.

Have one, and it's absolutely fantastic. It is incredably accurate almost on par and in some cases better than my target rifles. Definately more accurate than the vast majority of semi-autos out there.
Bolt action changes the point of impact, does well with most ammo, though mine fails to eject when using Federal in bolt action mode.

Picked up a scope mount from italy that cost around $150-$180. You are limited in what scopes you can use, however I picked up a cheap simmons scope that fit well, and upgraded that to one that was the same size, but with parallax adjustment. they also have a mount that is just a bit of rail, allowing a bit more flexability.

The down side is that spare magazines are impossible to find, as are the original target sights.

I got one nice rifle work well, and is accurate but yes this is really though to month a scope on this one tis is the only issue with this one.

I have two of them now the first one is rough and the previous owner mounted a 1.75 - 5 Bushnell by using two see through mounts
Looks like a Bubba job but seems to shoot well.
The second one I just got from Weimajack it's in very good condition doesn't have the wear like the first one.

Meobius I would like to see a picture of your scope mount.
