Has there been an frt submission for the Beretta PMX Carbine? I feel it would do well in Canada and fall into the more "reasonably" priced pcc's even in a restricted form. Its design goes back to 2017, id assume its safe from C21?

per armalytics, PMX is classified as a prohibited sub machine gun
  • Firearm Reference Number (FRN): 194744

the PMXs which is semi auto, does not have a frt but as the name and appearance are similar to the PMX, It is 50/50 as whether the lab says restricted or prohib

Stoeger Canada is the importer of Beretta but I suspect nothing will be done at least before an election is actually happening.

in the US it is imported as a pistol, that also presents a hurdle.

I do agree with it being a hurdle. However the US also considers the mares leg to be a pistol as well. The government up here just views it as a shorter rifle, which is why it’s still NR.
