Beretta Px4 .45ACP -Legal in Canada!?

the px4 is sorta like the USP, if you look .the usp is a totally different design when they made the 45, the 9mm and 40 are on the same platform. but the 45 was redesigned ..hence its a few mm longer ,and the barrel is a few mm longer as well.

the beretta px4 in 9mm and 40 are prohibs without the extended barrel. the 45 was designed a bit diff, but like the usp to the naked eye ,you couldnt tell the difference,
the 45 is 105.**mm which should make it restricted, because like the p7's and the law if its less than 105mm its prohib as the law squabbles over a a few mm's we can squabble over a few .** mm's the law is the law. and if you tested one with measuring calipers it will prove us right. its just like the 8045 that was made for the LAPD , though that one had an extended barrel. yet the barrel was measured at something like 105.** which made it just get by.. slavex i think has one. so if the FRT gave the 45 the same number as a 9mm and a 40 thats BULL$T and we need to act on that . because i want one of these real bad .

anyhow thats all for now. keep this thread alive.. at least till one of us gets one.

Many manufactures don’t give proper measurement of there barrels. I was looking at a nice little .22 revolver at shot show this year. Manufacture listed length of 4” Only after talking to them for a little bit did they mention that they only measure the part of the barrel that’s outside the frame.:slap:
So with the other 3/8” of barrel it will be ok.

ya i was thinking the exact same thing, because most NORMAL people dont think an 1/8th of an inch is going to make a difference, but because us canadians have to care that much ... it just takes longer ,, im sure the beretta 45 px4 should be ok. just need someone to get on that . then bring it in for us to buy ...... :D

They might think twice before trying that with the bad reviews over the PX4 .
