Beretta px4: rebarreled to be restricted?

As far as I know, the beretta px4 comes from the factory with a shorter barrel than is allowed by us mere mortals by law, right?

So when they are sold with the longer barrel, is that a factory barrel from Beretta, or an aftermarket one?

Yes, it comes with a factory barrel that is slightly longer than the normal barrel for the USA gun.

Beretta will produce a run in any barrel length as long as the order quantity justifies it.

you can buy the PX4 storm pretty much anywhere in Canada - and it comes with the longer barrel already installed...

I know the wife and I each have one (Thanks P&D!)

Her's is a basic "F" model and mine is a Inox...

They are less than a grand now.

Mine is a D variant with the after market, stainless EFK barrel. Very accurate, no cycling/feeding issues. 100% satisfied.

Agree with the replies about a legal Canadian made run with longer barrel. Mine is S/N on the barrel and tagged under the frame with matching numbers.
