Weren't these in Canada already(correct me if I am mistaken) I thought I remember seeing one at Target Sports Center on Stoeger Day. I have a bad memory:confused: so I really can't remember if I saw it in pictures or in a display case while there lol sad I know:D

The 9mm is available but not sure on the .45. It is certainly an unusual looking pistol. I think the designer must have been inspired by the plasma pistols on Star Trek Enterprise :D

Well the 9mm PX4s are not legal in Canada until Beretta made them with a longer barrel in limited quantities (500).

Now these .45s are made with .5" longer barrels to begin with so they'll be legal, but they're not cheap either (US$895), so I could see it selling here for $1200+.

I just like the full capacity mags - 10 rounds, so you're not always "cut short" compare to XD45 or Glock 21.

I handled one of the .45's in the US at Cabela's retailed for $690 there paying anymore than a $1000 for it in Canada would be robbery but hey it seems about right doesn't it? ;)

the sd is ugly , and the standard 45 model due to its bigger build from the 9mm 40 model, actually has a longer barrel, so its 106mm unless your a die hard fan of the longer looking extended barrel of the sd, wait for the standard 45, and i agree with shoota 100% anything more than a grand is just robbery . also there are better 45's to get for that price too.

The SD costs more than the regular PX4 .45. Yes it is a lot of money but hey you can get a new Glock in the US for what $350-399???
