Beretta PX4

I got this information direct from Beretta's website. It includes MSRP for the SD and it's $*@&#-! STEEP.

This is for the regular PX4 .45 with prohibited barrel.
Px4 Storm .45
45 ACP
10 ROUNDS
$ 625

This is for the SD with extended barrel.
Px4 Storm .45 SD
45 ACP
10 ROUNDS

$1,095

Ouch. They will probably be in the $1400+ range by the time we get them in Canada. That's enough to cool my jets a bit, no, actually allot.

Questar,

When will you be bringing in the .45 version?

There are no plans to bring in any other models. We are simply responding to a number of requests (mostly from CBSA employees) who want to own one of these personally.

We are importing mostly the 9mm models and will offer a few of the 40S&W once that barrel is finished (@ 45 to 60 days).

No plan to import any other Beretta models ourselves... but you can do a 3rd Party Purchase and have us import it for you. Find a US Vendor selling something you want (make sure the barrel length is legal for import to Canada)... we'll be happy to handle the US Export and Canadian Importation for you. Details on how that works are on our website at:

dude let me know the instant you have pricing. I have around 20 people looking for them, myself and another instructor included.

You might want to think about getting one unless you are with CBSA and want one to practice with. As I understand it they were trying to import the "D" model which is D/A only and not really the most desireable choice. It has a very long and hard trigger pull and was created for the Law Enforcement market and in fact is not even offered in the US to the general public. The other models are much more desireable to civillian shooters.

getting slides and converting to other types is a helluva lot easier than getting the gun. so once I have one in my dirty little hands, I'll be swapping the slide for personal use.

Well if you can import a slide more power to you but remember this pistol is DAO so there will be internal components to relace on the frame as well.
A straight slide swap would not work as you would have to install the safety(no provision for it on the D model) not to mention changing the sear, hammer, hammer strut, main spring etc. I guess it could be done but at what cost?

What the heck does "constant action only" mean? I've never heard that term used before. Is that some fancy way in saying that it is capable of full-auto?

They definatly are on the ###y side. But if they are going to be near or over 1000$!!.... Like mentioned before, when you have the M&P, the XD, Glock and even the Steyr that can be had for nearly half the price, there's not much debating to do. If they are that expensive Im really surprised that they were chosen by the Border officials. What possible test did this one pass that the others didn't?? Maybe there was a test to see what pistol would most likely be seen in Battle Star Gallactica :nest:

But if they are going to be near or over 1000$!!....

Lets not jinx it yet, however, I think they will be fairly close to that magic 4 numbers mark.

If they are close to $1000, I'll have a hard choice to make between a 4" Dark Earth XD imported with extended barrel or the PX4......ummm....dark earth........

the guts for the PX4 are cheap, and most of them don't need to be swapped, only a few do.

What is the hold up with the PX4? I thought they were going to be ready in January?

Barrels are done but Beretta doesn't sell the C or D models for general sale (just the F model is being widely sold at this time)... and so we had to order them... quoted us 90 day delivery.
