Description: Rx4 Storm The Rx4 Storm is a self loading semiautomatic rifle conceived for "Small Game Hunting". The physical attributes of the new Rx4 Storm rifle are versatility, modularity, reliability and ergonomics. The Auto-regulating gas operating mechanism is situated close to the chamber in order to use the hotter and higher pressure gases that are cleaner and result in less fouling. The locking system is based on a rotating bolt head with three massive lugs that work simultaneously to ensure a greater effective locking surface. Here is some more info that I found on this rifle.

It takes AR15 mag's does that mean it will be restricted?

The Beretta Rx4 Storm is the latest member of the Total Solutions for Law Enforcement family. This semiautomatic .223 special purpose rifle emphasizes individual performance with multiple stock configurations, ergonomic adjustment, and ambidextrous controls.

The first .223 caliber carbine to join the Beretta Storm family emphasizes ergonomics, individual performance, modularity, customization, and adaptability for different applications and users, while continuing to be the finest in firearms reliability and accuracy. With homeland security and personal officer protection in mind, the Rx4 Storm comes standard with a reversible cross bolt safety and ambidextrous bolt release. It accepts standard M4, M16, and AR15 magazines, but unlike some other weapon systems, the magazine release button is reversible and may be operated from either side.

The new requirements of homeland security demand the ability to fire a higher performance and longer distance ammunition, in a firearm with the ability to be modified to each operator. Available in two models, a 12.5” barrel and a 16 inch barrel version, both are lightweight with simplified controls, with a standard 10 round magazine included. The 12.5 inch barrel is threaded and features a removable muzzle brake. The Rx4 Storm accepts the Beretta vertical grip, or other after market grips. The MIL-STD-1913 “Picatinny” top rail is standard, with side and bottom and fore-end rails optional. The optional rails allow for mounting at the 12,3,6, and 9 o’clock positions.

Designed by Beretta and Benelli engineers, the Rx4 Storm incorporates the most advanced technology in firearms. Using the ARGO (Auto Regulating Gas Operating) system perfected by Benelli, the gas port is located just forward of the chamber where the gases are hotter and cleaner, resulting in less fouling and more reliable cycling. The action bars are required to move only ½” for complete cycling which results in fast operation with minimum vibration, making it easier to handle and operate. Additionally, the position of the gas valves allows for the compact and lightweight design of this rifle.

Emphasizing the popular individualized performance and modularity of the Beretta Storm family, the Rx4 Storm has nine attachment points for slings for multiple carry options, making it more individualized than your typical rifle. Just like its brothers, the Rx4 includes a technopolymer design with a simplified disassembly system that does not require tools. When the last round fires, the bolt locks to the rear for additional user safety. The five position telescoping stock allows the operator to adjust the length of pull for size, stature, and use of body armor. Also optional are a fixed pistol grip stock or traditional rifle stock to meet the preferences of different users. Included are combat ghost ring sights with protective ears, adjustable for windage and elevation.

The mag will have nothing to do with it's status but bbl length will.
This will be restricted unless a 18.5"+ bbl is offered (which according to the first post, it might be)

I want one with the non-pistol grip stock.

The one in the middle of the picture...

That's going to be my new coyote rifle... :runaway:

Looks to me like the barrels maybe interchangable.

This isn’t the right forum for this type of comment. This was a question about the RX4 Storm, let’s stick to the topic.
And on that topic, anyone have any solid info on price and barrel length, I will gladly cancel my order for an 180B to get one of these.

The big question is accuracy, if it shoots like a Mini 14 they can keep it.

Ha ha ha ... OTOH if it shoots and functions like a Beretta Storm, I'll buy one! Chances are good, I'd say ... :dancingbanana:
