That is indeed a piece of fine art and should, in my estimation, fetch much more than what was paid - from an art collector. Not a gun collector nor a shooter would make the winning bid. Sadly, there'd be no art collectors at a gun auction. And, you can't sell a firearm at an art auction. Oops, that limits the market!

Thank the boys at Berkley, IIRC, for the internet. You can sell anything, here. But frankly, I hope it doesn't catch on. It's one of those things that you can't quite find a rational reason for, but it just don't feel right.

I wonder what the wood is like under all that "art". Looks like a Tru-Oil project to me.
 
i thought i was told that gun was a factory special ed. gun, as i recall, it belongs to a fellow trap/skeet shooter's wife.

its a nice gun
