Actually from the '95 collection. And you are right each to their own. But this is a collectors item.
Purchase price was in the 2k's but the owner has had a substancial offer above and hasn't accepted it.

That is indeed a piece of fine art and should, in my estimation, fetch much more than what was paid - from an art collector. Not a gun collector nor a shooter would make the winning bid. Sadly, there'd be no art collectors at a gun auction. And, you can't sell a firearm at an art auction. Oops, that limits the market!
Thank the boys at Berkley, IIRC, for the internet. You can sell anything, here. But frankly, I hope it doesn't catch on. It's one of those things that you can't quite find a rational reason for, but it just don't feel right.
