Beretta Silver Pigeon questions x2

Hi Folk,
my old man has this shotgun for casual trap shooting. I wanted to know:

1. If a stock spacer is avalible as I feel it is a wee bit short.
2. He gets some cheek friction and the odd smack. The friction is an issue (I enjoy him getting the odd wack as he deserves it). Is there some way to pad the stock comb or another solution?
