Broke down and bought a Beretta Silver Pigeon S in 20 gauge at the Fredericton NB gun show. I had fully intended on getting a 12 but the 20 was so light 6.1 lbs and felt perfect for me. I'll be doing mostly grouse hunting and a bit of pheasant hunting so the 20 should do ok.

can't wait for the opening of grouse season so I can try her out. I put a cylinder choke in the bottom and modifed in the top barrel.

Funny that you mention it....I walked into Epps last week with the same thought in mind and emerged with a SP S 12ga instead.

The 20ga is nice in all aspects.....good choice!
