Beretta stock cast

Beretta 686-687 field guns normally have little or no cast - neutral. Their dedicated Trap, Skeet and Sporting models are usually cast right or left, as is the 682 series.

Interesting - Both my 686 sporting and field guns have a similar and reasonably substantial (right hand) cast. One of the guys at our range recently bought a left-handed 686, which he specifically requested after being told that the guns are cast specific, with guns in inventory commonly being right. I always thought that the North American manufactured guns like Remington, were cast neutral.

I'm hearing a lot of conflicting answers, I can't find anything that says yes or no, if they do or don't, I'm looking to buy one and its being shipped, so I can't inspect the gun, and the owner doesn't know what he has

I tried not to contribute but what’s been posted will cause you more problems.

For BERETTA sporting and game guns

They leave the factory with +/- 5 degree cast.

plus or minus is for right or left handed.

there are no options to spec anything different unless you are in the SO range.

PM me if you want advice on gun fit. I have a little experience in that.

What is the best way to bend a Berretta stock from right handed to left handed? This would be a stock from an early to mid 60's Berretta.

Your PM is shut down. I think I know why. That is good. You are a very respected man in Canada.

You are right on the Beretta gun stock cast, I just received a reply from a respected fine firearm shop, all the Beretta O/U, even down to the Silver Pigeon1 field model, leave the factory with cast on or off, but I heard that from you first, thank you
