I haven't seen them here yet but wonder what the classification will be.

The BerettaUSA site says they have 18" barrels which would make them restricted. However the Beretta International site says they are 18.5" meaning they would be non-restricted.

If they are non-restricted I'd have some definite interest in one. It would make a great companion piece to my 391 target gun.

It's a shotgun. Barrel length has nothing to do with the classification.

I'm pretty sure the the barrel is 18" and besides that its nearly Benelli M4 expensive in the U.S.

The barrel is long enough to be non-restricted. The action is based on the newer Beretta Xplor action. But apparently they aren't coming into Canada according to this thread.

The TX4 is about $1250 on a few sites.
The M2 Tactical is $1150
The M4 is $1699

So there is a big difference in pricing. The TX4 is $400+ cheaper.

I would take the TX4 over the M2. Not sure how it stacks up against the M4. (and the M4 hype)

So there is a big difference in pricing. The TX4 is $400+ cheaper.

$400 for a proven design isn't all that much...

It will be interesting to see how they hold up.

I'd buy one. The weight alone is a big selling point. Couple this with a proven design and they have a winner on their hands.

Send me a restricted 14" version, and I'd be in heaven.
