Can any one tell me if these work well or crap.
I am thinking of either this or the ruger mkII

I have a misquito but it doesnt work as well as I would like it to,,,yet.
some real input from someone who has shot one would be great.
I like both ruger and beretta, but the beretta is couple hundred less than ruger.

thanks for the info

My wife shoots one. The Neos is reliable and digests a wide variety of ammo. The sights are good enough, and you can add optics. The worst thing about it is the trigger, which is rough and has some creep.

I agree about the trigger being a little rough. Other than that, mine functions flawlessly.

Target was shot at roughly 30-35 metres.

I've only ever held a Neos, and I loved the feel- it fit my hand perfectly. I own a Ruger Mk.1 5.5" bbl, with adjustable sights: it's very accurate, and the trigger is outstanding. It also eats anything I feed it.

My wife loves hers. I enjoy shooting it as well. I'm pretty sure we've never had an FTF or FTE with it either, and it's a snap to disassemble and clean.

If you have large hands, the grip might be a little small for you. Other than that, I'm sure you won't regret buying one.

I almost bought one when I got my MKIII, However I did notice what I consider a MAJOR design flaw - When I put my finger along the frame outside of the trigger guard - I'd hit that strangly placed mag release....

Do any of you owners encounter that issue?

Fiance shoots a Neos, likes it a lot. Very reliable, bit more so than my Buckmark, but the sights on the Neos are so so... too wide for my liking. Mag release is in a weird place, but it is convenient and has never dropped a mag prematurely on us yet.

If the pistol fits, and you don't mind the ray gun look pick it up, you can't go wrong for the price!

i went through a buch of them last spring , and to my tastes, i ended up with the neos- aside from having to put up with remarks like space gun and trekkie, etc, it's a darned good gun with a good feel - my trigger was darned near perfect with no fixing required- mof , i wish that beretta would come out with a 9 and a 45 on the same design- it also fits in my 1911 holster- my other 22s are a 948 beretta and a norinco 93- tried the browning and found it overpriced and away heavy, and the ruger in all marks was way overpriced, and felt "clunky'- and i've been at this game since 1970, ( back then it was beg somebody's else's pistol)

I bought one after handling many and the neos fit my hand very well, better than the others. It shoots great and I dont notice it having a rough trigger. I would recommend it to anybody.

I bought one after handling many different makes and models as it fit my smallish hands the best.
I like it, very accurate, likes most ammo.
Extremely easy to strip and clean.
Extra mags cost an arm and a leg and one fell apart on me :mad: but other than that, it's a real nice gun for the money.

I just checked his website, and it appears that he has the stainless model in stock. You could always call to see if he could order the regular model, if you find the price for the stainless one too high.
