hi everyone,

I was wondering if the trap pro's could aid me in figuring out a price for my gun. I acquired the gun in a lot buy and since I do not shoot trap/skeet/clays im not familiar with the market. I have a BERETTA UGB-25 EXCEL (see attached link)

its practically brand new. I put it in the classifieds for $2200. New was close to $4500. I'm assuming the market for trap guns is smaller but I was wondering if that is a fair price? Not really getting much feedback from the E&E, is there another classifieds i should try that is more aimed towards the sport shooting market?

Thanks in advance.

Your ee says you paid $4300 for it but here you say it's was bought from a lot sale for close to $4500. Hmmm.

that seems to be what most of them are going for these days.
However, it is more then likely that you aren't receiving any feedback as you are trying to sell a gun that has absolutely NO parts available for it. Many people who spend that kind of money want to be able to maintain their guns for many years, cant do that if there isn't any parts.
I've only seen one guy shooting one, he had something brake, and haven't seen him use it since.

Sorry it was a typo, also as I have stated I am going based on what the original owner stated he paid which is $4300. I purchased it in a lot buy... I have no reason to lie, thanks.

I guess that would explain why, thanks for the feedback!

I have A Sporting version that I acquired brand new for $2000 from a Beretta dealer and a Trap that I got for $2000 lightly used. The sporting has been to the gunsmith for a trigger polish after about 5000 rounds and the Trap has never been to the gunsmith after at least 10,000 rounds.

Despite what TJspeller says I love the UGB-25. There is no real recoil with them and they swing beautifully. The reality is that $2000 is the top end for these guns as they were sold on closeout at this price. I was thinking of offering you between $1500 and $1600 for it, then I saw that you jacked the price back up and didn't feel like explaining how that wasn't very realistic and that my offer wasn't a low ball.

Brownells has parts availability despite what jewman22 says. Beretta is still selling these guns in other parts of the world and spares are still available.
