Beretta X2 Kick off

Hi all! Does it have someone in there who realy fired a beretta xtrema2 shotgun with KICK-OFF in it ? Is it posible to get a comparison with a 870 rem pl ?

I'M looking for a goose 12 gauge shotgun in 3-1/2 and I don't realy know the path that I Should take.I know the one that fit me better is the choice but if one come équal to Berettta with KO I will prefer the beretta.

I have an X2 without kick off. It's alot softer kicking than a 870, even comparing 3.5 in the beretta vs 3 in the 870.

One of my buddy shots a M2, and the recoil is sharp, but not unbearable even when shooting those new hypersonics.

As for fit, it's all personal. Beretta comes with a flat rib while the benny and winchester are raised. Never handled a maxus, but I had a silver for a few years. The thing that sold me on the X2 is the ease of cleaning and stock adjustment. The recoil spring and bolt all comes out as one unit, and can be taken apart faster then even the 870. You also have 4 LOP and drop adjustment so it easy to get the gun to fit.

Dont spend the extra money on the kickoff model. I shoot an extrema II without it and its extremely managable shooting 3.5's goose loads without it. Only thing that kicked hard out of that gun was hevi-shot 3.5" turkey loads. I was shooting an 870 before this gun,, there is a huge difference in felt recoil! Clay from prophet river has the best prices on this model.
