Bergara B14 HMR

So I'm in the market for a nice do everything kinda rifle and the Bergara B 14 HMR popped up. What do you think or would their be a better option?

Not a mainstream brand here in North America, spares likely to a challenge. The Spanish are able arms manufacturer's, but so are many, many other countries.

An unusual rifle, personally I would go Steyr Scout / Ruger Gunsite Scout / Tikka T3X Artic or Battue / or a patrol rifle by FN etc. I prefer European rifles, but after market service / spares are important. Particularly when you need it.

There is an importer here in Canada but no rifles as of yet.

Importer is O'Dell Engineering, recently contacted them and these rifles can be had in 2-3 weeks for $1500.

I handled one when they first landed. Was not impressed. Stock was absolute crap, and good luck getting an aftermarket one. I think a guy would be further ahead with a tikka at least you can get all the goodies for it if you desire.

I believe the bergara b-14 have a rem 700 foot print so any stock for a rem 700 of the same length should fit.

Used a B14 hunter in 6.5 creedmoor while hunting in Hawaii. I liked it, its basically a Remington 700 so you have a vast selection of aftermarket goodies.
