Just bought a used one off a fellow gunnutter. Equipped it with a Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24x tactical scope and tried it at the range tonight. Sighted it in with cheap bulk ammo, then tried Remington Target, which was craptacular, then tried American Eagle 40 grain, and it shot around 0.7" groups or worse, then tried the few rounds of Lapua Speed I had, and it shot under 1/2" at 50 yards. Finally tried out some SK Standard Plus and it shot really well. Biggest group was 0.34", best group was under 0.25".

Thoughts on the gun. Shoots well, but trigger is too heavy for my liking. Bolt is hard to close on all ammo.

Try going with a Trigger Tech (expensive) as a replacement trigger. There were a few used ones in the “EE” , I’m not the seller. Unfortunately you’re going to have to up your ammo budget . I started with CCi and then moved up the SK ladder. BBM proved to be a pleasant surprise

I too have had very good results with BBM, it is rebranded RWS semi auto.

Edit: the best ammo was SK Standard Plus for the last four groups. I'm not familiar enough with the brands, and mixed it up with RWS, which it wasn't.
