Bergara HMR 14?

I want to buy my first legit long range rifle.
Is the Bergara B14 HMR a good choice? Would it be better to invest more and get a Tikka or Ruger precision?
I'm just super impressed by what I have been hearing about the Bergara's. Thanks!

Got one in .308 20" barrel , love it. I have a Vortex 6.5-24 on it.now weathers better ill start working on 500-1000m ranges.

I generally make a Youtube on each boomstick I get. Making one on the Bergara alone has eluded me during the winter as my range goes out to only 500m. I'll do one when i can go to the open grasslands and let loose over that.

Good choice. I have put the boots to Cadex and AI rifles worth $6000 in ORA style matches out to 600m with the B14 in 308.

There's some groups at 100 with 43.5 grains Varget, ELDM 168 bullets, CCI BR2 primers, and Lapua brass.

I have the B14 BMP in 6.5CM as well. Some groups from that gun...
