Hey guys!
Well I'm very excited, I went and picked up a box of Berger Target 185 VLD's, 1lb of H4350, Winchester Large Rifle / Magnum primers. These are all going to get put into properly manicured Nosler (Norma) brass.

Troutseeker, if you're reading this I'm still going to take you up on your offer and I'll call you soon!

If anyone here can help me out with some loads for the 185VLD's in a Rem 700, 300 win mag 1:10 26" that would be superb.

My Lyman manual has no load data for that particular bullet, nor does Hogdons' website.

Thanks guys!
BTW I'll definitely post some groups as I'll be reloading this Saturday and going to the 1000yd spot on Sunday all day.

Thanks.

All you have to do is send an Email to Berger requesting load data for the bullet in that caliber and cartridge and they will send you all the data they have with all the powder in their data base.

Personally, I'd just use Sierra 190 data as a starting ballpark.

In fact, I'd start with something like 67 grains of your 4350 and work my way up, expecting to see promise somewhere around 69 or 70 grains. I've never used this bullet, by the way, but that is what I would do, based on experience with the Sierra.

Awesome! Sent the email off to Berger, anxiously awaiting it's arrival.

weimajack the range will let us shoot 1000yds but I'll be happy with just getting sub-moa at 100, then possibly reaching out to 500 before I run out of ammo.

I'm thinking the BC of the 190 and 210 Berger VLDS was negligle compared to the 185.

While I wait for a reply back from berger though I'd be extremely grateful, for any input on loads.
