Berger bullets

I have a Sako 85 in 300 WSM with an 11 twist. I would like to shoot 175, 185 or 190 grn Berger Hunting VLD's. The recommended twist for the 175's is 13 while the 185 and 190's have a recommended twist of 12.

Has anybody out there loaded any of these bullets with an 11 twist and what were the results. Thanks

Berger's recommendation is a minimum twist. You have an 11 twist, which is more than the minimum, so you will be just fine. If they don't shoot, it is not because of the twist.

I have a Tikka with a 11 twist. Shoots the Berger 190 grn VLD's great. The 190's have a high ballistic coefficient. Results are sub moa.
