bernardelli Model 60 22 Semi auto Feedin and ejection issues

I have a model 60 Gardone Benardelli . It doesn't look like it's been shot much but I seem to be having issues with it feeding and ejecting the ammo. I've cleaned it , tried different ammo . Any other ideas on what the problem could be. When it shoots I usually get stove pipes or it doesn't feed the bullet in the chamber but often ends up jamming and completely missing the chamber . more of a double feed issue. Any suggestions
 
I can likely fix it up for you - I have owned a lot of these little semis that needed tuning. I will get one out now to look at and see if I can see anything that might cause what you are describing.
 
Okay - just supposing that the most likely cause is the clip, I took a picture of mine to show what the right spacing should be. Give me your email address and I'll send the picture.
