berreta M1 garand reciever markings??

I got 4 berretta m1 Garand receivers today and have a question about markings

the heel of the receivers have the Danish crown FKF Nr PB ###X

that I get

the left side of 2 are marked BERETTA-ARMI ROMA-ITALIA

the other 2 receivers have NO markings on the left side any reason for this???

Marking conventions seemed to change over production time. Generally the Beretta made receivers will be marked on the left side as you have reported. I have one in the 1500 s/n range and another in the 3 digit s/n range which aren't so marked, but they do have the letters "PB" in the drawing number on the right side of the receiver.

At some point in the mid 5000 range Breda started making receivers for Beretta. These ones carry all of the usual Beretta markings, but will have the letters "BMR" in the drawing number on the right side.
