My supply of 45 projectiles is getting down and I was wondering which would be better Berry's or Zero. I have tried Cam-Pro before and they didn't work for me and I have tried the AIM projectiles and they worked okay but the new guy isn't up and running yet. I have used Berry's before in 9 mm and they work good for me but I see that doubleTap is selling Zero at a reasonable price, so I would like to hear from anyone that has used both and what you liked or disliked about either.

i use zero's both tcfm and hollow point in .40 as well as in 9mm. higher price but more consistency .there's next to 0 variation on diameter or lenght.however the hollow points in .40 are longer than the cheaper HP cam-pro or berry's i've used in the past .if you load to the same coal with the zero's , load density isn't the same(space left in the case) .
apples and oranges my friend. berry's are plated, zero's are jacketed.
if you can get them for the same price or close i would go for the zero's (never tried them). i do like berry's though so if i could save a couple bucks i would go that route.

Good luck getting Zeros, they have been backordered for months, and last time I e mailed him, no eta in sight (and yes he will do local pickup). And when they do come in, they will be gone almost instantly because of pre orders and they will be considerably more expensive, I just got dinged for 13% exchange on some stuff I just got stateside

I've never used Berry's but I'm presently using Zero's 230gn RN and I am very pleased with them. No issues whatsoever 
I have not used Zeros but the Berrys I've used were top notch. I'm not shooting at extreme velocities so the plated Berrys worked fine for me. When possible I always buy the double struck bullets which are resized post plating and hence have nice consistent diameters. Plated bullets that are not sized post-plating often have inconsistent diameters because the plating never goes on uniformly. This is not an issue with jacketed bullets which typically are swaged.
This might not be the best example because their bullets weren't all that great but a few years ago a friend bought some plated 40 cal. Excel bullets and their diameters varied by as much as 4 thou. Some were so oversize they wouldn't even chamber. He ended up having to buy a Lee bullet sizing die and resize every bullet.

Having used throughout the years many brands of bullets, including Frontier, Berry's, Cam Pro, AIM, Hornady and Zero, in 9mm, 10mm, .45, .357 and .44
My first pick out of the lot is Zero, by a wide margin.
They're almost the same quality as Hornady's with a price closer to plated bullets.
For plated bullets, I would be hesitating in between AIM and Frontier.
Cam-Pro used to be good, but the quality of recent batches went down the drain ; found many weird-shaped bullets in their boxes.
Berry's bullets actually cost me a chronograph, the jacket separated (chipped) from the core upon firing, and pieces of the stray jacket went through my chrono's screen

I used to load Frontier 168s in my M14. They were awesome, deadly accurate and cheap. Does anyone still bring them in? As far as I know Marstar was the importer, but not anymore due to costs.
