Is this your personal experience with the Bersa or just anecdotal? Right now I narrowed down my selection of a new .22 to the Thunder and the rebarreled Beretta 71's that are on the market now.

The Beretta's are factory 6 inch, we just don't get the other 4" barrel due to the children and what someone thought of them.....
 
I thought about the Bersa but went with a Beretta 71 for no other reason that they were more of a known quantity and the price was right.

I'm interested in your comment Can-down. Are the Beretta's being offered Model 71's that have been rebarreled with a factory 6" barrel or Model 72's shipped and sold without the original spare 4" barrel? IE brand new 6" barrels or the original 6"?
 
I'm not sure what the difference is between the mod 71 and 72 and how you'd tell?
There are several different models in country including prohibited ones. It's possible that they gathered up extra "target" length barrels and cobbled together a "Canadian"
order.
The one I have is definitely not a new 6 inch barrel. Trigger Wholesale ( the recent importer) was trying to get some new 4.2" barrels made in the States but that didn't work out for some reason.
