Bersa Thunder 380 disassembly???

So naturally all the videos on YouTube are of the short barrelled Bersa 380’s... how the heck do the Canadian versions come apart???

I see the lever and can pull the rear of the slide up, but the barrel is too long to allow it to slide forward, over the chamber, and off? Am I missing something?

It Will come off, it just takes an uncomfortable amount of force to do it. I guess it's just the price we pay for being able to have these awesome little guns☺

I was a bit concerned myself the first time. I remembered having the same issue with a Baikal Makarov I owned so it made me a bit more comfortable giving it the extra effort it seems to need...

I had a hell of a time with my threaded barrel .22....and yes, I took the thread protector and o-ring off first!
