Bersa Walther P88 clones in 9mm and 40 S&W - Arcus High Power - who has interest?

Would you buy a Bersa in 9mm, 40 S&W or an Arcus High Power?

  • I'd grab a Bersa and an Arcus for good measure.

I sent an email to Bersa in the US, and they don't have an official Canadian distributor - does anyone else have interest in Bersa pistols? They seem to be cheap in the US, and if a Canadian distributor picked up the line, we'd have more variety here. They seems to be a Walther P88 clone - so I'd bet accuracy is decent - at least thats what SOME of the US gun boards are saying.

As for the Arcus - its basically an updated high power clone - at a pretty good price - just thought if we polled it - there might be some interest for those who want an economically priced firearm, and would rather go with something a little more interesting then a Norinco...

Here's the Bersa - availiable in 9mm and .40 S&W

And now the Arcus -

LOL.... pople who actually own the guns responding...imagine that - Richard, do you mind telling us Canucks what kind of accuracy you get, etc. with these guns, it would be very helpful.

FYI
Arcus already has Canadian representation. They are carried by SIR in Winnipeg. Richard has mentioned greatly of them in his old post (perhaps older manufacture), but the display model that I checked while ago in SIR store was inferior in fit and finish compared to Norincos.

:)

from what I've read on US forums Bersa is makes quite a decent gun for the money.

but I wouldn't pay more than $500 for one (they're under $400 in the US)
