I need an extractor for a "Turkish Forestry Carbine" Berthier Mod 1907/16.
Tip got broken off at the Chilliwack gun show. My bad, didn't see the fellow jam the bolt ahead and snap off the tie wrap. He had an 8x50 Austrian training round and wanted to see if it would chamber. Neither of us noticed the broken extractor and I don't believe he had any intent to damage the rifle, he did offer to pay for the extractor and offered me $50 and an apology.
I need an extractor to make the rifle fully functional again and saleable.
Anyone have a spare or know where to find one. Online search hasn't yielded anything yet.
I can make one, but it's tedious these days.
