For clay, grouse, and home defense, you might choose Winchester Super-target or Federal Top gun with 7 1/2 shot. You can get these at most sporting stores for under $7.00. For bear and waterfowl you will need something else.

most likely home defense, although it'll probably never get used FOR home defense (fingers AND toes crossed!)
