Helping a friend with his 300WSM Browning auto. Now we are loading 180 SSTs at chronyed 2930MV. They are working good and the canelure is placed right.

But we're now considering a tougher premium bullet than the SSTs to reload. The potential is to shoot bears from 10yds to 400ds as he has done both in the past. We may make 3000MV so the bullet needs to hold together at that - even on a shoulder shot.

Any recommendations specifically for the 300WSM for this use? I'm thinking accubonds, partitions and TSX but not sure which is best given the short mag application with its COAL restrictions and case length.

I think you are OK with SST 180 for bear and 2930 vs 3000 is not much difference.
If you need to move to tougher bullet I would use Barnes TTSX 180gr as they will have very close B.C. factor to SST and possibly same point of impact.

I am using those two bullets for hunting in all my guns.

Close shot at bear with SST may cause lots of meat damage but should be excellent as long range medicine.
