Aaaand by far, I don't think it's close in the price range.

I'd trimmed 500 new .204 brass and am working on a similar number of .223. I dread deburring and chamfering by hand. Doing both operations at a nice steady pace on 100 brass, including a smoke break, took me just over 1/2 hour. Would have taken me hours doing 20 at a time by hand, there were some pretty big ridges of brass to take off due to the trimming of up to 6-7 thou from some of the cases and using the wrong cutter head on my trimmer

The rig cost me $21.25. I had a total order of $73 that cost $8 to ship, so add a couple of bucks into the cost of the tool, I'm still under $25 and happier than a pig in  Shipping was reasonably quick for USPS ground - had my stuff today after ordering on the 14th, so basically 2 weeks.

Yay!

now if you invest in a rcbs 3 way cutter and trim, deburr and chamfer at the same time it will really speed things up. :D

Sinclair is also a real good source for cleaning rod feed tubes and theirs are the best. They sure are easy to deal with. Have several of their products and go back willingly.

Kent, is it crucial to have exact same case lengths?

Well, as was said, consistency for accuracy.

Brass grown too long can jam in the chamber (between the chamber wall and the bullet) and create ugly high pressure, a situation I never want to encounter.

Doing all the brass prep is too for me a part of the learning curve of the hobby in general. I'm liking shooting a lot, and, as it's mainly at paper, I figger I might as well try and get accurate or what's the point? At least with bolt rifles.

it u use somthing like that how do u keep track of how many revelutions you spin it in each brass and how much material u r taking away. i would much rather do it with that then by hand if u could somehow keep it consistant

Just got my Sinclair chamfer tool kit in the mail today. (Same one Redhouse got) Of course they got here the very next day after I finished chamfering 250 .223 cases with that little Lee thimble chamfer tool.
But I tested it on a .44 magnum case...Tool in my drill and hand held the case...MAN!!!! Sweet tool!!! And razor sharp too. Its gonna definately be easier to do the next big chamfer job. :D

Nope, just shave it a tad till the sharp edge (the burr) left over from the trimmer is removed. both inside and out. Don't take too much off or you'll end up shortening the case even more.

I found that I was able to do the whole block of cases without removing them from the block - just by putting a finger against the side of the case to keep it from spinning while chamfering. The trouble is if you do stuff too fast, then you stop playing sooner and go back to real life. These little repetitive things are a little therapeutic - I think.

Hell ya! Sheesh, why you wanna screw up a good thing by being efficient? :)
Puttering around reloading is a great way to de-stress after work.
By the way...(if you're like me and do one step each night)..if you didn't take the cases out of the block, you best not forget to turn each case over to empty the shavings out before adding the powder. ;)

I have several bore guides and have also picked up the primer pocket cleaning tool with an adapter that allows its use in a drill or in my case a drill press. Set on a suitable speed I am about to use it to clean up a pile of 223 and 30cal brass. Well made tools and generous with their catalogs. They are a real easy US company to deal with and as I look thru my current cat I see there are a couple of items I should have. I have to say I really like the way they make there stuff. Quality all the way and nothing wrong with the pricing either. I would buy up here if anyone stocked their stuff but nothing I can find on the Wet Coast. If anything they send too many emails telling that they have taken your order, packed it, shipped it etc. At least you know what is going on. Never shorted on a shipment either.
