best .22 wmr

In new guns, a Savage 93 is an excellent choice.....the Marlin Levermatic is good too, but hard to find.

I love my ruger semi. I had to play with the mags and clean it a few times during the beaver season as this is hard on them because of the hair and mud that gets into the mags and action. Mine is very good on accurate department. I have made shots on coyetes and fox out to 150 y with it and beaver out to a 125y. Made a folder stock out of a ruger 22 rimfire for the 22 so it is compact when I want it to be.

I used to think that the Levermatic were hard to find until I found one. Recently there have been three listed in the EE.

I have a Marlin Model 25 MN bolt action. They stopped making them about 15 years ago, but what I like about it is that its almost a full-sized wood -- I find most rimfires to be too short and cramped. If you can find one for about $200, you got a good deal.

marlin still makes some nice 22 mags. the 925m, 925rm, and a couple of heavy barrel stainless models. check out their web site. savage also has some good shooters in your price range. cz's are great but a little more money, i can not get my wifes away from her.
