Best .22lr round for Gophers? Stingers?

I just bought a brick of Segmented HV HP from CCI. They look like the vermin ticket...

I just picked up a CZ455 American and figured I needed to pick up a few more bricks of CCI Quik-Shoks for the gophers. Turns out that the "Quik-Shok" name was apparently in violation of some kind of trademark and the "Segmented HV HP" is the new handle. Picked up four more bricks at just over $60 each. Given the recent ammo shortages south of the border, I thought the price was pretty reasonable. Three or four years ago I was paying $52 per brick.

I personally would say that the best ammo is the one that works the best in your particular gun and kills the gopher humanely. Hollow points seem to do the best job . It is not speed that kills but rather bullet placement.

I use Stingers and 555's. I find that they shoot VERY close to each other in my rifle, which is mind boggling.
I have tried Golden bullets, yellow jackets, mini mags, velocitors, federal game shock, ect.. I only use the two I mentioned because, they group VERY tight, 1/4 @ 50 yards.
This is something you're going to have to test in your rifle, along with the second most important factor in this situation RELIABILITY.
Those two things will determine which round you should use. What works good in someone else's gun may not work in yours. Yes, the results from both those rounds are... immediate.

That makes sense to me. A few years back I read a gun magazine article about a police LE 12 gauge shotgun round designed to break apart into segments and then to help prevent pass through on a violent attacker's body.
I'm pretty sure Quick or Quik Shock/Shok was the brand name.
