Best 30-06 to purchase

Hi,
I would like to buy a 30-06 soon (it is a long time dream) and would love to get some advice of which one to buy. I am looking for a reliable and accurate rifle. I read some good comment about the Tikka® T3x Lite Stainless Bolt-Action Rifle.
I would love to hear about your favorite 30-06.

I have owed a few dozen, my current and favourite is my T3x.

My preference runs to Remington 700, Winchester 70, Ruger 77.

You really can't go wrong with the big name bolt guns.

Tikka is another big name that people love, but I dislike the plastic detachable magazine.

I prefer a box mag and a hinged floor plate.

I would agree with a a Tikka or a Vanguard. However, I have a Browning BBR 30-06 and it is a beautiful and accurate rifle. Love it

what's your usage intent?
the Tikka Lite is not ideal for a day at the range
a light 30-06 heats up pretty fast and recoils harder than a heavier one.

If you like controlled round feed actions aka Mauser 98, and if you like old school type of rifles aka wood and steel, FN Browning Safari in 30-06. I picked one up recently, looks like it was just manufactured, even though it is from 60s, maybe early 70s. Highly polished metal, deep blueing, bolt very smooth. Beautiful classic rifle.

BBR is a nice rifle but you need to be a super hero to carry it all day, it's very heavy.

While a BAR would indeed be fun to have... For a hunting rifle, my vote would go for something a like practical. Like a nice Mannlicher-Schönauer...
