I got a phone call from my brother who happened to be going through town. He passed a store closing yard sale and saw it. A suit of armor! He asked them how much and then called me knowing my love for medieval weaponry and armor. However when I saw this picture I thought... meh.... I asked my brother what it was made of and the answer he got was "Coffee cans"!!! One of my favorite targets!!! So this will be heading to our impromptu .22 range and will have the snot shot out of it! It stands over 7 FEET TALL! Weights about 2 pounds?

Is the pic not showing?!? hmmm lemme fix this!

Hopefully I can pick up my SR-22 over the next day or so and "break it in" on the "black knight"!

Ahhh here we go!

We have 3 video cameras, trust me there will be video documentation of the event. I may even just put new tin cans over the chest once its shot out to get the most out of it for longer.

You could deflate a volley ball or old soccer ball and stuff it in the helmet and reinflate it bit for some cool effects.

What!!!!! you cut them down from $40...that is cold. I don't think I would want to look at that everyday so blast away:D
It will probably take several bricks before you notice much damage, perhaps a 12 Gau. slug or two!

I didn't talk nothing down, I gave an offer, they didn't have to take it, but they did ;) ! Ya once I get my gun, I am setting up a basic run and gun course. Thank goodness my dad likes shooting sports, lets me come visit, and has over 150 acres for me to play on!

After you shoot the hell out of it , you may find you killed a few hundred
dollors for reale value.
It looks well made , seems a shame to shoot it up.
reminds me of the old weather vains that where shot years a go.
These days a good one with out holes can sell for $ 1-2000.oo,
And some of these where hand made same as you tin man.

Not even close to "real" armour, looks like a made in India display piece... fire away! :ar15:

Purchased for 30 bucks, her nephew or something made it, and its made of coffee cans... doubt that it has any real value.

Life: Enjoying the little things. Like shooting up up a 30dollar set of coffee can armor with as many guns I can get my hands on! :D
