Best 4-12x scope?

I'm looking at buying a new coyote gun. Think I made up my mind which glass I want to mount on it. Lookin to spend $350 MAX


Redfield Revolution 4-12x40mm 4-plex reticle


put it up against a 4-12x40mm 3200 elite and thought the Redfield was nicer.


any other's I should look at? It will be mounted on a TIkka T3 blued .22-250 if that matters.

Just got a Redfield Revolution 4-12x40.

Mounted it on a Savage Mk II BTVS. Very clear.

Compared it with a VX I Leupold and I think I made a good choice.

Redfield was bought by Leupold & Stevens and so I believe the quality control and customer service are on par.

Thanks guys. The Redfield has me sold. I didn't even notice much difference between it and the VX2. I heard its really good for dusk and dawn hunting, when most of my coyote hunting is done.

What about a used Leupold VX-II 4x12 40mm AO? You can usually pick one up on the EE for around $400.

the eye relief on the 4-12 Bushnell 3200 is brutal

With Vortex you are not paying for the name like you would with a Leupold, yet. Certainly worth a look. I have a 3200 Bushnell and it's not particularly sharp. Even my entry level Leupold handily defeats it in every way.
