Will be spending a lot of time at the range with my new Sig so just looking for something decent quality/price and possibly available in bulk for target shooting.

I would say something in 165 or 180 grain that you can afford. Don't worry JHP, they will just cost you more.
If you are new to pistol, shoot a thousand rounds then go from there. Most issues encountered by new shooters is "shooter error" rather than the ammo.
Winchester white box?

Wolf 180 gr, great stuff, pretty affordable, i shoot a lot of it and my pistols shoot good with it... JP.

Found some Winchester 165gr $19/Box 50 at local gun shop, so have a few boxes of that to start of with, will be back home next week with, hopefully, my new P226 waiting for me :) .
