I'm just barely comfy with a S&W L-frame 686 - the trigger is still a bit of a reach. What .44 would be easiest to handle for a person with tiny muppet hands? So far, research is indicating that the Ruger Bisley Hunter model might be the most comfortable to shoot...?

I have pretty small hands and find the Redhawk with stock grips to be OK. I have tried the Hogue monogrips on it, but didn't like them at all as they filled in the space behind the trigger guard and I need to put my fingers up in there.

If you are around Calgary you are welcome to try my Redhawk at the range with both light and full power loads to see what you think of it.

"...Redhawk with stock grips to be OK..." Or a SuperRedhawk. Same size grip as a GP 100. Great big SOB of a revolver though.

Don't you find those smooth Rosewood grips a little hard to hang onto under recoil, especially if your hands are a little sweaty? I love the look of the Stock
Redhawk, but I really wish they would checker the grips.

I own a Redhawk and a S/W 29 The factory grips on the Redhawk are not the best with hot loads. Your index finger will take a beating. I find the 29 has big grip but more comfortable. Try some different grips if you can with hot loads.
