Well,getting back into the shooting sports has been great. My son and I have become so much closer due to this similar interest. He was over visiting this past weekend and we had the greatest time. Started shooting clays with my Benelli and some with his Mosberg tactical shotgun.
The short Moosberg is not the best for the clays so we deceided to set up some "run and gun courses" and use his Mosberg. We had safety rules and did no running while loaded. Well in short we had an awsome time, we filmed each other while shooting. Thats all he could talk about that night over a couple of beers. He wants to come over soon and do it again.
He also brought over a CZ 7.62 x 39 but we didn't have a suitable backstop so we didn't shoot it. I had so much fun with him I am thing about buying a SKS so we can shoot 2 guns next time. I would like to restock it with something decent that has a nice fit and finish. Is there a known best brand/model for this gun.
I choise the SKS due to price as I have just spent quite abit on several other guns and want to make sure I enjoy it. Appreciate any ideas out there. Cheers Ross
