Looking to build an airsoft mp5 to shoot in my backyard

Does anyone has experience with them?

Dont know what brand i should go with.

Would like :

reliability
accuracy if thats possible in this toy department...
mod possibilities (Exemple : changing internals for more velocity etc..)

I have an older one from Classic army I think it is and I can't kill it. I'm thinking of selling it as it sits in my armory collecting dust.
 
There are several items out there to upgrade the rifle if you should want to. With airsoft you need to remember that not all parts are needed to run the gun and some arent worth the money. All depends on what you want to do with the rifle. Aegs are cheaper then GBBR rifles as the mags alone are very costly in gas block back rifles. Burner is right. I couldn't fix an aeg or electric gun to save my life but the wetech systems made sense.

Trying to fix an aeg rifle is a pain in the ass. I don't fix them myself as I have a tech for that as I have been banned from using the soder iron etc lol. Most people can do basic stuff adding accessories or basic parts. Getting into opening up the gear boxes on the aegs is a nope for me. Gas rifles break down just like the real versions. The options are endless for guns. The only issue is the cash for them as some are more expensive then there real counter parts.
 
I had a G&G MP5SD5 and my god I should have never parted with it. G&G dows put out some of the finest airsoft rifles at great value with quality to match. Perfect in my opinion.

Why not join www.airsoftcanada.com its damn near the equivalent of CGN. Tons of used gear, info, you can find local dealers, "gun smiths" and players so your not stuck plinking in youe yard alone.
