Best AR-15 Carry Handle scope mount?

Howdy folks,

Let me know what you've used/tried and what you like the best.

I'll be taking the vintage Colt 3x scope off and want to mount a Leupold VX II 3-9x40.

Was thinking of using the ARMS mount or something like it...opinions?

I'm using a Leupold Mark 4 carry handle mount and Leupold quick release rings. Haven't tried anything else, so I can't compare, but this set up works very well.

To me, the A.R.M.S. mount is the best.

Incidentally, if you need one, I have some spares and will give you a great deal if desired.

By default, carrying handling mount and "the best" are oxymoron. Time to swap out the old upper and go for a flattop for a long term solutioin.

A new upper can be had for 125 + tax at Armseast - no point of spending 100 bucks on a carrying handle mount.
