Woodbeef,
All depends for what you are looking; a used rifle, a collectible, a new in the box workhorse or a fancy rifle.
If one can wait, there is always the Sako, wich falls on the high end. The M85 is now a constrolled feed action, with all the advantages of the Sako features. The bad point is the 1 year wait to get it, but if it's not your only rifle, it does not really matter.
There is always the Zoli 1900, in push feed action, but still you're at the higher end of the pricing you are referring to.
The Tikka is also a very interesting (for the price and I'd say overall quality) push-feed. They usually are more than accurate rifles, and they even make it in the Heavy Barreled Varmint version.... Maybe on the "heavy" side for a tracking rifle, but still good for hunting from a stand (my own T3 HB Varmint in 6.5X55 is really the most accurate commercial rifle I ever owned).
The Cz sure have a lot of more than interesting features, I prefer the Lux version over the American, 'cos of the piggy back stock for fast sighting with open sights and scope. That is my own personal choice in "new-in-the-box" category for tracking moose and close shots, because of the controlled feed feature (I prefer it over the push feed when hunting in the bush of heavy brush). They are available, I've been lurkin' for then since a while...
Remember that; when looking for an "exotic" rifle/caliber, the wait is nothing compared to the feeling of having it, and most of the time, wait is the rule.
