best bipod for a Browing 300 win Mag A-Bolt

first: sitting or Prone? Probably a Harris S-series either way, S-LM being my choice. And Wholesale carries them

There have been a few threads here on bipods Maurice, quick search will yield a few.
For Bench work/Range Parker Hale - Versa Pod - Harris. Will all do you well. I know you like quaility. Versa Pod - http://www.versapod.com/
Read around there abit, it will give some idea on heights etc, for what you are doing.
For hunting, where you are moving through the brush, I'd say VP, not Harris, but thats just me.

For the range I would suggest one of VPs models with the tensioners.
You can buy VP from VP or any Nicholls rep, also a few of the mail order places. Harris, the plague they are, can be had just about anywhere....
