Best book(s) for first AR build?

Can anybody recommend a good book or two to help with my first AR build. I have one already so I'm not a complete noob but aside from basic servicing and some minor changes(hand guard and gas block) I haven't played around with the mechanics of it. I'm going to be starting with a spikes tactical crusader lower with the plan of building the lower completely up first.

If all you want is help putting one together then just watch a couple youtube vids and you're set. That's how I put my first lower together. It isn't very complicated once you see it done. Don't force anything and take your time. The only thing remotely complicated is the trigger and if you watch a vid of it you won't have any trouble.
Also, my Daniel Defense LPK had an exploded view of the lower so you could see what orientation the parts fit together.

As for a book? Should be able to use some google-fu to find something for free somewhere.

^^^ yup exactly, just watch the youtube vids.

For the bolt catch you can just press the pin in with a pair of channel locks wrapped in tape. Works for most of the other roll pins as well.

I like Patrick Sweeney's books. He has 4 volumes about the AR out now and one called "gunsmithing the AR". Youtube is great as well

You don need books for that stuff. Internet is your friend.

Larry Potterfield from Midway USA has a pretty good video (or videos?) on building an AR on YouTube as well...

Just wing it like everybody else I suppose watch a coiple of YouTube video might help.

Unless texts make more sense to you than someone showing you how to do it, youtube would be your best bet like everyone else said, you can learn just about anything on youtube these days....
I learned how to fry eggs in onion rings one time and it was pretty awesome

that make sense, you still don't need a book thou, why need a book when you have the mighty internet
just type "ar 15 parts exploded view" into google search, then click on image...take your pick to save or print.
