best bottom pour pot?

My Lyman 20 pounder is pretty reliable with no drips. I think the leak is something built into the Lee 10 lb bottom pours mine dribbled constantly, casting got way easier when I gave it away.

Lee makes some good stuff in their pistol dies and autodisk measure, but that 10 lb pot is crap.

i seen the same video last night it was a good one to watch i picked up the 10lb pot by lee havent tried it yet just got the wheel wieghts today going to seperate the stuff saturday watched a lot of videos on you tube seems to be straight forward i got a lot of lee stuff there is nothing wrong with there products ill still buy them despite what people say each to there own ... hound13

Most people cast bullets for economy and that usually means Lee equipment.

I run a Lee 10lb, it drips and sometimes leaks. Once it jammed open, that was a little hectic. I picked up a little stainless steel pet food bowl at a flea market that is about twice the size of the lead pot so if it jams open I can just shove that bowl under there.

Watch your temps, keep your pour pot for clean lead only, learn your paper clip and screw driver fixes but always plan for the worst.

I've done over 60,000 bullets on a lee 20 lb pot. I keep saying I'm going to upgrade when this one dies, but it keeps going and going and going...
I think a lot of the time LEE gets a bad name because the least experienced people start with Lee because of the price. The inexperienced users make all their mistakes with the LEE and then switch to a higher priced unit when they now understand how to operate and maintain properly. Hardly surprising that the more expensive machine works out better in those circumstances.
