Looking for the most bang for the buck, not the cheapest and not the most expensive, but the smart buy. Who carries Rock River Arms?
 
I have a RRA pred pursuit and am very happy with it. got my local gun shop to bring it in so i paid a little more than i prob would have going to questar but i would like to keep the gun shop in town
 
I looked at Questar's site, and they didnt' have one with a long heavy barrel and a fixed stock. I think I'd like a fixed stock better for cheek weld. Would I be nuts to consider a Remington R-15, non-carbine model? I think it has a 22" barrel and only cost around $1300.00 Twist I believe is 9".

twist on mine is 1:9, I've got the varmit carbine 18"

camo finish is not very impressive, but thats going to get painted over or removed.
